I'm Hans Li

Hey, you!

My name is Hans Li and I want to welcome you to The Ohio State University and welcome you to my hometown, Columbus, Ohio.

I have been with the Wuhan to Ohio Summer Program since its inception in  2008 and started out as only a driver.  Slowly I assumed more and more responsibility and am now a Program Assistant helping Mike with the day to day operations, planning and execution.  I really hope that you have a wonderful and memorable trip.  If there is anything I can do to make it better, please let me know!

A little about myself, I was born in Columbus, Ohio, in 1989.  For several years, me and my family lived in New Zealand.  While living in New Zealand, I had several opportunities to visit China and stayed in my parents hometown of Hunan, Changsha.  In 2000, my family moved back to Columbus, Ohio and I finished my education at Dublin Coffman High School.  I knew very early on that I wanted to follow in my father's footsteps and become a Buckeye.  I applied to only one University; thankfully, I was accepted.  This past May, I walked down the red carpet and was handed my diploma making me an official Ohio State University Alumni.  I earned my Bachelors of Science in Aviation Engineering.  I eventually plan on earning my private pilots license.

During my sophomore year of college, I became interested in breakdancing and hip-hop dancing.  This interest soon blossomed into a love for dance and I began watching and imitating youtube videos.  I was even asked to be in a music video for a small band in New York.  I still have a lot of work to do before I can go on shows like So You Think You Can Dance, though.  Another interesting fact is that I have a large hat collection.  I have roughly 56 Flat-Bill Hats.  Perhaps during your time you will see some of them.

Like I mentioned previously, I want you to have a wonderful, memorable, and informative time while you're with us; if there is anything I can do to make sure it happens, please let me know.  If you have any questions, feel free to ask.  If you want to have a dance battle, I'll have my boombox ready.

-Hans
