Hello!!!
I'm so excited to meet all of you and to spend time with you in Columbus, OH. I will be teaching a Women's Self-Defense class along with a Dance class with Hans Li, and I look forward to seeing you at some of the other events this summer as well.
I grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania (do you know where that is?) and came to Ohio to study at OSU in 1998. I also earned a master's degree from OSU, and now I work here full time coordinating week-long service/volunteer trips for students.
I also teach a women's self-defense class here at OSU. It is not a martial arts class, but rather a "street" self-defense technique meant to be easily accessible to everyone despite one's physical ability. I find it to be extremely empowering and extremely fun!
Unlike Eric, I can't speak Chinese, but I did visit WHU in 2010 and 2011. Like Pete and Mike and the others, the experience in Wuhan changed my life in so many ways. Not to mention, I fell in love with hot dry noodles and wish we had them in Columbus!
Please feel free to email me any time! brieannebeaujolais@gmail.com
See you soon!
